Our Discoverers group is designed for the “first time” skier with a relaxed approach to learning to ski to ensure that their first time on the slopes is a positive one. We provide an ideal first skiing experience for this youngest age-group thanks to gentle guidance from experienced staff. We encourage self-expression, improvement of motor skills and coordination, exploration of the outdoor environment and team work. Groups consist of maximum 4 participants.
In the afternoons you will have the choice to either continue skiing until 4pm or to finish skiing at lunch and in the afternoon join in with a structured programme of alternative activities, both indoors and outdoors. Activities include but are not limited to arts and crafts, sledging, ice skating, music time, kids yoga and pottery.

Good to know
• Full Days: The courses will be held from 9am - 4pm including lunch if more than 3 children are registered per group. If there are 1-2 children registered for a group, the course will be held at reduced hours, until 1pm and will not include lunch.
• Half Days: The courses will run from 9am - 12pm if more than 3 children are registered per group. If there are 1-2 children registered for a group, the group will be held at reduced hours, either 9am - 11am or 10am - 12pm.

Meeting points for full day lesson (9:00 am) and pickup point at 4:00 pm):
• Monday and Tuesday: meeting and pickup at the bottom of the Sunnegga Express
• Wednesday to Friday: meeting and pickup at the bottom of Matterhorn Express
Meeting points for half day lesson (9:00 am) and pickup point at 12:00 pm):
• Monday and Tuesday: meeting at 9:00 am at the bottom of the Sunnegga Express, pickup at 12:00 pm at the top of Sunnegga Express
• Wednesday to Friday: meeting at 9:00 am at Bottom of Matterhorn Express, pickup at 12:00 pm at Furi
In the event of cancellation, reimbursement will be calculated as a percentage of the total cost of all products booked, as follows:
• Cancellation on 14 days or more prior to the commencement of the first day: 100% refund
• Cancellation on 7 to 13 days prior to the commencement of the first day: 50% refund
• Cancellation on less than 7 days prior to the commencement of the first day: No refund.
Cancellation of lesson or curtailments due to a complete ski area closure will be refunded in full.
Partial resort closure due to adverse weather conditons or breakdown of mechanical installations (or other incidents beyond our control) will not result in any lesson refund.
Cancellalation due to injury or sickness will not be refunded. Clients are advised to take out suitable insurance to cover them in the case of cancellation.
