Altitude Ski & Snowboard School has instructors for everyone, whether your’re wanting someone with decades of experience, patience, technical knowhow or who is great with young children or passionate about freestyle.

Our children’s team are full of enthusiasm and are passionate about teaching the next generation to ski or snowboard, whether it’s their first time on skis or already are seasoned pros! Our instructors are qualified, experienced and first aid trained, so you can be sure they’re in good hands.

Your private ski or snowboard instructor can meet you wherever is most convenient and can also show you the best restaurants, the quietest slopes or the nicest kids areas!

About Altitude Ski School

Welcome to Altitude Ski & Snowboard School! Our ski school journey started back in 2001 in Verbier and has since expanded into Grindlewald, Wengen, Gstaad, Zermatt, Davos and Klosters. We always had one simple belief in mind that every client deserves to have the best possible experience, from booking lessons or guiding through to enjoying an incredible day on the mountain.

In 2001, our ski school in Verbier started with 12 instructors and a concept to deliver high quality, professional ski & snowboard instruction to clients of all ages & abilities. Since then, we’ve expanded into new resorts & become renowned for our impeccable service & our ability to match our instructors to each client’s needs.

We now offer private and group lessons in over 10 different languages and our core goal of providing the best service and instruction remains at the heart of what we do.

If you are a beginner then we suggest meeting at the bottom of the Médran lift or at the bottom of the Les Esserts lift.

Any bookings that are cancelled within 7 days will incur a charge of 50%. For lessons in New Year Week and February holidays, any bookings cancelled within 14 days will incur a charge of 50%. All bookings not cancelled more than 48 hours in advance will not be refunded.

In the case of lesson cancellation due to lift closure, injury or sickness, adverse weather conditions, breakdowns of mechanical installations or other incidents beyond the company’s control Altitude will not be liable to provide the client with a refund. We advise our clients to take out adequate insurance to cover them in the case of cancellation.

Altitude declines all liability in the case of an accident that occurs during any lesson or company run event. Altitude reserves the right to cancel any session if payment is not settled in full before the lesson.
