About the lesson

The Val d'Anniviers is a Swiss alpine valley, located in the district of Valais, which extends south of the Rhône Valley, on the northern slopes of the Pennine Alps. The valley is formed of five ski areas: St. Luc, Chandolin, Grimentz, Zinal and Vercorin.

Grimentz - Zinal is an incredible ski area that is still relatively unknown. The good average yearly snowfall, low temperatures, varied skiable aspects, low humidity and protection from the wind make these beautiful ski resorts a freeride Mecca.

But Freeride is not just about the quantity and quality of snow, it's also about varied terrain, right? You have that too in this valley. From long pillow lines to steep faces, forests for the snowy days or wide open faces, Grimentz-Zinal has it all.

The powder is in every corner of this incredible valley.

If it’s your first experience in the backcountry or off-piste, we provide step-by step instruction with technical and tactical tips. Safety is always our number one priority.

Avalanche backpack with kit (beacon, shovel and probe) are required and touring skis are recommended. Heli-skiing is also available.

About Ski Zenit

Ski Zenit was established in Saas Fee in 2009. Drawn to the consistent snow conditions and the vast varied alpine terrain, we made our home in this authentic car-free town in the heart of the Alps.

We are a small international group of dedicated professionals with years of expertise and our personalized experience goes above and beyond the normal ski school product creating a lasting relationship with our guests. We offer a wide variety of lessons in more than five languages and have the ability upon request to offer fully personalized ski trips all over the world.

In case of cancellation the following refund policy applies:

• Cancellation up to 4 weeks before the start of the lesson: 90% of the amount will be refunded, with a minimum of CHF 20.
• Cancellation between 4 weeks and 7 days before the start of the lesson: 50% of the amount will be refunded.
• No refund is provided in case of cancellation 7 days or less before the start of the lesson.
