About the lesson

Downhill skiing in Sölden is a classic among winter sports! During the lesson you quickly learn the right technique and improve your skills. From the first turns to fast carving runs, we offer everything.

With practical exercises we teach you step by step to improve your technique and so that you can go down the slopes in no time. We always pay attention to a good balance between personal attention and group dynamics.

About Skischule Sölden-Hochsölden

Skischule Sölden-Hochsölden was the first ski school in Sölden. Since 1928 Skischule Sölden-Hochsölden has been teaching skiers and snowboarders from all over the world to master the slopes.

Years of experience, well-qualified snowsports instructors and modern teaching methods combined ensure that you will have a great learning experience. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced skier or snowboarder, Skischule Sölden-Hochsölden will help you to achieve your goals.

During the winter season Skischule Sölden-Hochsölden employs up to 160 snowsports instructors. About one third of them are “Diplomskilehrer”, which is the highest possible qualification in Austria. Skischule Sölden-Hochsölden's staff come from a variety of countries, however the majority are locals.

As far as possible Skischule Sölden-Hochsölden tries to offer its services in your own language. In addition to German and English the ski school has French, Italian, Dutch, Russian, Czech, Slovak, and Polish speaking instructors.
