About the lesson

Do you want to experience for yourself just how great and cool snowboarding really is? Or have you already been boarding for a while and you are now in the mood for New School, Slopestyle, a funpark, halfpipe or off-piste? Our snowboard courses for kids and teens ages 7 to 15 promise rapid success, lots of fun and all kinds of action!

Sunday to Thursday

Lesson times
9.15 - 11.30am and 12.30 - 3.00pm

Course start
Beginners: on Sunday or Monday
Experienced snowboarders: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday

In case of less than 5 applicants (outside holiday weeks), the group lesson will be 2.5-hours per day (similar to private lessons with intense training).

About Ski Dome Oberschneider

Hermann Oberschneider founded Ski Dome in 1990. After the end of his career as a professional, the certified skiing instructor worked as a skiing instructor trainer and demonstrator for the Austrian Interski Team.

At the same time ski aces like the Olympic medal winner and multiple World Champion Benni Raich were trained by Hermann Oberschneider. It was nevertheless not all that easy to get a license for his own ski school.

Hermann Oberschneider, however, did not give up and – finally in the winter season 1990/1991 he succeeded: He started off with 5 employees and opened his „Skiing and Racing School Oberschneider Kaprun“.

From Sunday 04 January until Friday 06 March:

  • Advanced children: meeting point at 10:00 at Maiskogel mid-station (Stanger)

  • Beginner children: meeting point at 09:30 at Lechnerberg

From Sunday 08 March onwards:

  • All children: meeting point at 10:00 at Ski Dome 2 (Kitzsteinhorn Glacier)

If you would like to cancel your booking, we will need a medical certificate from you in order to reimburse you in full. If you do not cancel the booking for health reasons that have been confirmed by your doctor, the following cancellation guidelines apply:

• Up to 30 days before the start of the course a full refund will be provided
• 15 - 30 days before the start of the course: 50% of the booked amount is refunded
14 - 8 days before the start of the course: 30% of the booked amount is refunded
• 7 days or less before the start of the course: 10% of the booked amount is refunded
