About the lesson

Get ready for an unforgettable freeride adventure with a former World Freeride Tour participant!

Freeriding is snowboarding down untouched slopes covered in fresh powder snow – freeriding is simply the purest form of snowboarding. Over the last couple of years, off-piste adventures like freeriding have experienced a boom.

If groomed runs are no longer a challenge for you, you’ll be keen to discover the thrill of snowboarding on untouched slopes away from the piste. Irian will not only guide you in the mountains, but also teach you about the equipment used off-piste and how to stay safe in the backcountry.

Freeriding around the Arlberg is like a dream come true for anyone who is looking for powder snow. Because of the geographical location, the Arlberg receives snow from many heavenly directions. For this reason the Arlberg may call itself the snowiest region of Austria. The modern lift network is the biggest connected lift network of Austria which makes the Arlberg a real all-round area for Freeriding.
